Joey McIntyre, a pop star i\during the eighties, will be featured as a guest star in one of the episodes of “Psych”.
According to reports, Joey McIntyre will star as a new officer with the buff built who is filled with mysterious secrets.

McIntyre is known for being a famous eighties pop superstar. He was part of the boy group “New Kids on the Block”. Years after the group was disbanded, he tried to have a career as a solo artist and released a number of his albums.
McIntyre’s character in Psych will cause Gus and Shawn to believe that he may be the person behind the mysterious identity of a known superhero. The superhero they are pertaining to is “The Mantis”. Mantis was the one responsible for putting down a drug syndicate in the local.
This isn’t the first acting venture of McIntyre. Previously, he was also included in the show of Boston Legal and an independent film entitled ‘On Broadway’.
Watch out for Psych on its sixth season some time before the end of the year.
